We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with experience in road and highway construction projects. The ideal candidate should have expertise in quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, rate analysis, cost control, and contract management for road infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
- Prepare and verify BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for road and highway projects.
- Handle client billing and subcontractor billing.
- Prepare RA bills, final bills, and reconcile quantities.
- Conduct quantity estimation for earthwork, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, culverts, drainage, and pavement works.
- Perform rate analysis and cost estimation.
- Monitor project costs and assist in budget control.
- Coordinate with the site execution team, planning team, and billing department.
- Review drawings and identify quantity variations.
- Maintain project documentation and measurement records.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and project specifications.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying for road and highway projects.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, billing, estimation, and rate analysis.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and billing software.
- Familiarity with road construction standards and project specifications.
- Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in road or highway construction projects.
- Experience with NHAI, State Highway, PMGSY, or other infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in client billing, subcontractor billing, and quantity estimation for road projects will be given preference.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per month
