Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Product Consultant (Sr. Business Process Specialist) to join Mfg Matl Mgmt -CAT IT Division.
The incumbent would be working within Caterpillar’s global IT organization translating business strategy into solutions for the material management and planning area within the SAP team. The Inventory Management/Warehouse Management (IM/WM) function supports end-to-end material movement, from inbound receiving through final product shipping, including all intermediate processes. Core responsibilities include solution governance, functional design (requirements definition, functional specifications, and test scenario development), system deployments, and periodic Level 4 production support.
The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore – Caterpillar PSN
What you will do
This position is primarily responsible for:

Providing direction for requirement blueprint sessions, design and feedback to the customers
-
Identifying and training facilities to utilize template solutions
Performing validation and sign-off of 3rd Party deliverables (i.e. testing, documentation) -
Collaborating with project leads, system architects and partners to identify and implement best practices
- Documenting functional / technical specifications for solution development
-
Documenting master data requirements for solution development, testing, and execution
-
Documenting test scenarios for solution validation (i.e. unit, string, integration, and UAT)
-
Ensuring change requests are appropriate and consistent with application roadmaps
What you will have
- Bachelor's degree in IT or other technology related degree.
-
5-7 years of IT experience, along with 6-10 years of ERP related experience (can be concurrent).
-
4-5 years of experience with SAP IM/WM module.
-
Working knowledge of EDI/IDOC standards.
- 1-2 years of Digital Manufacturing or Shop Floor experience

Advanced English
- This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office
