Senior Production Manager – Battery Manufacturing

Duties & Responsibilities
- Led end-to-end battery manufacturing operations ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production
- Planned and executed production schedules to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets
- Supervised electrode manufacturing, cell assembly, formation, aging, and packaging processes
- Ensured compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and EHS regulations
- Monitored production KPIs including yield, OEE, rejection rate, and cycle time
- Implemented lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinated with QA/QC, maintenance, and supply chain teams for smooth operations
- Managed manpower planning, training, and team performance development
- Troubleshot production issues and implemented CAPA for process improvement
- Ensured proper documentation, ISO compliance, and production reporting
- Controlled raw material consumption, inventory, and wastage reduction
- Supported new product development and process scale-up activities from pilot to mass production
Experience: Minimum 7 years in Battery Manufacturing (Production)
