Key Activities
- Dashboard DevelopmentDesign develop and deploy Power BI and ServiceNowdashboards and reports for Infrastructure teams ensuring data visualization best practices
- Data Model Management Create and maintain robust data models including data sources integration transformations and relationships in Power BI
- ServiceNow Reporting Build and maintain ServiceNow reports dashboards Performance Analytics and custom widgets using ServiceNow reporting capabilities
- Requirements Gathering Collect and analyze reporting requirements from various Infrastructure domains translating business needs into technical solutions
- Report Production Delivery Produce scheduled and adhoc reports from Power BI and ServiceNow based on stakeholder requests ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Dashboard Maintenance Monitor troubleshoot and maintain existing dashboards across both platforms ensuring data freshness performance optimization and alignment with evolving requirements
- Continuous Improvement Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing dashboards through improved visualizations new metrics and user experience optimization
- Data Quality AssuranceValidate data accuracy and consistency across reports identifying and resolving data quality issues in collaboration with data sources owners
- Documentation Knowledge Sharing Document data models report specifications and best practices provide training and support to dashboard users
- Performance Optimization Optimize Power BI and ServiceNow reports for performance including DAX optimization query efficiency and ServiceNow platform performance best practices
Main Responsabilities
- Act as reporting expert for Infrastructure teams onPower BI and ServiceNow platforms delivering highquality dashboards that support datadriven decisionmaking
- Manage the complete reporting lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment maintenance and continuous improvement across both platforms
- Build and maintain ServiceNow native reporting solutions including reports dashboards Performance Analytics and custom applications
- Ensure all dashboards meet quality standards including data accuracy visual consistency performance benchmarks and user accessibility
- Drive continuous improvement of reporting capabilities by identifying new metrics visualization techniques and automation opportunities
- Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on Power BI and ServiceNow reporting capabilities report interpretation and selfservice analytics
- Collaborate with ServiceNow BI Team Data Engineers and IT teams to ensure proper data integration governance and security compliance
Required Skills Experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI including Power BI Desktop Power BI Service data modeling DAX and Power Query M language
- Strong proficiency in ServiceNow reporting and analytics including Report Designer Performance Analytics dashboards and custom widgetsapplications
- Experience with ServiceNow platform architecture data model tables relationships CMDB and scripting capabilities for advanced reporting needs
- Strong experience in data modeling including starsnowflake schemas data transformations and relational database concepts
- Experience integrating ServiceNow data with Power BI and other external data sources into unified reporting solutions
- Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and UXUI principles for dashboard design
- Knowledge ofIT Infrastructure and ITSM metricsavailability incidents changes problems capacity SLA compliance etc
- Experience with performance optimization techniques for both Power BI and ServiceNow platforms
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and gather clear requirements
- Besthave Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification PL300 andor ServiceNow Certified System Administrator CSA
