We are looking for a practical and skilled Machine Maintenance Operator with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering to join our production team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, routine servicing, and rapid troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and plant machinery to minimize downtime and ensure peak production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities (cleaning, lubrication, oil checks, belt tensioning, alignment) on machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical faults, abnormal sounds, or machine breakdowns and perform corrective repairs promptly.
- Dismantle, overhaul, repair, and reassemble mechanical components (gears, bearings, pumps, valves, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, compressors).
2. Machine Operation & Monitoring
- Monitor machinery performance during production runs to detect potential issues before failure occurs.
- Operate production equipment during test runs after maintenance or repair work to ensure smooth performance.
- Assist machine operators in setting up, adjusting, and calibrating machines for daily production batches.
3. Spare Parts & Log Maintenance
- Maintain a daily maintenance log book, recording breakdown details, spare parts consumed, and repair duration.
- Monitor stock levels of critical mechanical spare parts, oil, lubricants, and tools; notify supervisors when stock needs replenishment.
- Coordinate with the electrical team or external technicians for joint mechanical-electrical troubleshooting.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
