To provide installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and breakdown support for Thywork’s robotic welding systems, servo positioners, and industrial automation solutions, ensuring high system uptime and strong customer satisfaction. .
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
- Execute installation of Robot, Welding Machines, Gears, robotic cells and servo positioners.
- Perform alignment, calibration, and system validation.
- Support PLC, HMI, and robotic integration during commissioning. Ensure system performance meets productivity targets.
Breakdown & Troubleshooting Support
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, servo, and PLC-related faults.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting support.
- Minimize downtime and ensure quick restoration of operations.
Preventive Maintenance
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance visits.
- Prepare maintenance checklists and reports.
- Recommend corrective actions to avoid repeated failures.
- Monitor wear parts and consumables.
Customer Training & Support
- Train operators and maintenance teams at customer sites.
- Provide technical guidance on safe system operation.
- Maintain professional customer relationships.
Documentation & Reporting
- Submit service reports after every visit.
- Maintain service logs and issue history.
- Coordinate spare parts requirements with procurement.
- Provide feedback to design and projects team for product improvement.
Technical Skill Requirements
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Basic understanding of industrial wiring.
- Knowledge of servo drives and motion systems.
- Familiarity with robotic welding/handling systems (preferred but Not mandatory).
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings (preferred but Not mandatory).
- Understanding of industrial safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics.
- Experience in field service role preferred. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Response time to breakdown calls.
