Job Description
We are seeking detail-oriented and skilled Civil Draftsmen to support our engineering team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing detailed plans and drawings for various civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage systems, water supply networks, and more. You need to work alongside designers and understand project brief and prepare engineering drawings accordingly. Must have excellent understanding of AutoCAD and be well versed in setting up drawing sheets, follow company templates and ensure plans meet company standards. Ability to develop AutoCAD code or develop lisp commands to automate some repetitive drafting commands will be looked at favourably.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to work in a team.
Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and plans using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
Ability to take directions from senior engineers and project managers.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
Assist in the development of project documentation and technical specifications.
Review and modify designs based on feedback and project requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and meet company’s set quality objectives.
Maintain organized project files and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in civil drafting, for intermediate 5+, and for Senior 8+ years.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other drafting software.
Familiarity or exposure to Civil 3D but not mandatory.
Must have exposure to civil projects and be familiar with earthworks, drainage and roading plans.
Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts and design principles.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
