Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced ETL Tester to validate and ensure the quality of data pipelines, data warehouses, and ETL processes. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data validation, SQL, and testing methodologies for large-scale data systems. Key Responsibilities Test and validate ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehouses Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies Perform data validation, data reconciliation, and data integrity checks Write complex SQL queries to verify data accuracy Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business teams Ensure data quality, consistency, and completeness across systems Required Skills Strong experience in ETL Testing / Data Warehouse Testing Expertise in SQL (advanced queries, joins, aggregations) Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, etc.) Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema) Hands-on with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, QC) Understanding of data validation and reconciliation techniques Good to Have Experience with Big Data (Hadoop, Spark) Knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Python) Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
