Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Performance Testing Engineer with strong expertise in Guidewire applications such as Guidewire ClaimCenter, Guidewire PolicyCenter, and Guidewire BillingCenter. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in performance testing, workload modeling, bottleneck analysis, and performance tuning for enterprise insurance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for Guidewire applications.
- Perform Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, and Volume testing.
- Analyze application performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide tuning recommendations.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, middleware, and business teams to resolve performance issues.
- Monitor application/server performance using profiling and monitoring tools.
- Validate scalability, stability, and responsiveness of Guidewire applications.
- Prepare performance test reports and share observations with stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile SCRUM/SAFe ceremonies and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Support CI/CD-based performance testing execution.
Must Have Skills
- Hands-on experience in performance testing of Guidewire applications.
- Strong knowledge of performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, Gatling.
- Experience in API performance testing (REST/SOAP Web Services).
- Good understanding of Guidewire architecture and integrations.
- Knowledge of Gosu, XML, and SQL queries.
- Experience with Oracle / SQL Server databases.
- Strong understanding of JVM, thread dumps, heap dumps, and GC analysis.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with SCM tools such as Git, SVN, or TFS.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Good to Have Skills
- Guidewire Cloud platform exposure.
- Basic configuration knowledge in Guidewire.
- CI/CD exposure using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Insurance domain knowledge.
Preferred Experience
At least 2 Guidewire implementation/support projects, experience working in Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology, and the ability to mentor junior team members and provide estimations.
Pay: ₹487,082.31 - ₹1,647,454.71 per year
