Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman with 3+ years of experience in preparing electrical drawings for commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects. The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and capable of producing accurate electrical layouts, schematics, and construction drawings in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop power distribution, lighting, low-current, fire alarm, and ELV system drawings.
- Create and update single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and panel schedules.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure design accuracy.
- Revise drawings based on client comments, site requirements, and engineering inputs.
- Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper document control.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and industry standards.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and project documentation.
- Support design coordination and clash-resolution activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, standards, and drafting practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of lighting, power, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on Gulf/Middle East projects.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM workflows will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with international electrical standards and codes.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
