Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced General Manager – Operations / Production to lead our overall factory operations and drive manufacturing excellence, productivity, quality and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall Plant Operations, Production, PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Dispatch.
- Lead and optimize CNC Turning Centres, VMCs and other CNC machining operations.
- Improve OEE, machine utilization, productivity and production efficiency.
- Monitor and reduce rejection, rework, downtime and manufacturing costs.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM and Continuous Improvement.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards and timely delivery.
- Manage and develop production and operations teams.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Engineering, Sales, Quality and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, safety and statutory requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8–10+ years of experience in Production / Operations Management.
- Strong background in Engineering Product Manufacturing / Precision Engineering.
- Mandatory experience in CNC machine-based manufacturing.
- Hands-on knowledge of CNC Turning Centres, VMCs, machining processes, tooling and fixtures.
- Experience in managing CNC production / machine shop operations.
- Strong knowledge of PPC, OEE, Lean Manufacturing and Quality Systems.
- Candidates from Compressor Components, Valves, Pumps, Auto Components, Heavy Engineering, Precision Components or Industrial Manufacturing will be preferred.
- Compressor spare parts industry experience will be an added advantage.
