Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-Commerce Manager to lead and grow our online business in the FMCG sector. The role involves developing and executing e-commerce strategies, managing online sales channels, optimizing digital marketing initiatives, and ensuring seamless customer experiences to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement e-commerce strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities across marketplaces, D2C platforms, and emerging digital channels.
2. Sales & Channel Management
- Manage relationships with major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Blinkit, Instamart, and other online marketplaces.
- Drive online sales performance through pricing, promotions, assortment planning, and platform optimization.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
3. Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute digital campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, and influencer marketing.
- Optimize product listings, content, and brand visibility across e-commerce platforms.
- Enhance customer experience and retention through loyalty programs and personalized engagement strategies.
4. Operations & Analytics
- Oversee order fulfillment, inventory management, and supply chain coordination for e-commerce operations.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including conversion rate, customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on investment (ROI), and sales performance.
- Prepare regular performance reports and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth business operations.
- Ensure compliance with marketplace policies, legal requirements, and company brand guidelines.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of e-commerce business models and online marketplaces.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Blinkit, Instamart, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of D2C business operations and digital marketing tools.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership ability with a collaborative and results-oriented approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Mandatory).
- Master's degree/MBA in Sales & Marketing or a related field (Preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in managing online marketplaces, D2C platforms, and digital sales channels.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, online merchandising, and e-commerce analytics.
