- Calibration & Maintenance: Calibrate instruments (flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, control valves) and perform preventive maintenance to ensure accuracy and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose faults in PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), motors, sensors, and electrical circuits using testing devices like multimeters and calibrators.
- Installation: Install new electrical conduit, wiring, instrumentation, and control panels based on technical drawings and blueprints.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of calibration results, maintenance activities, and spare parts usage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to electrical safety protocols, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and industry regulations (e.g., in factories, refineries, or water treatment plants).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: ITI, Diploma, or Associate degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics Engineering.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of industrial electrical systems (motors, VFDs) and instrumentation (pneumatic/electronic components).
- Technical Drawing Analysis: Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&ID (Process and Instrumentation Diagram) diagrams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex technical problems.
