About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Solar Project Engineer with strong hands-on experience in MW-scale On-Grid Solar Power Plant project execution. The candidate will be responsible for planning, site execution, electrical installation, testing, commissioning and grid synchronization of solar projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute MW-scale On-Grid Solar Power Plant projects as per project timelines, drawings and specifications.
- Prepare and monitor project execution plans, work schedules, manpower and material requirements.
- Supervise installation of electrical equipment including transformers, HT/LT panels, RMUs, switchgear, inverters/PCUs, SCADA, cables and earthing systems.
- Manage HT/LT cable laying, termination, testing and commissioning.
- Plan and supervise electrical testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate and execute grid synchronization, energization and commissioning in coordination with DISCOM/utility authorities.
- Review SLDs, electrical drawings and technical specifications and ensure site execution accordingly.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, clients and internal project teams.
- Monitor project progress, resolve technical/site issues and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain testing reports, commissioning documents, DPRs, checklists and project handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety, quality and statutory requirements.
Must-Have Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience in execution of MW-scale On-Grid Solar Power Plant projects.
- Mandatory: Experience in electrical equipment installation, testing and commissioning.
- Mandatory: Practical experience in grid synchronization / plant energization.
- Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, RMUs, protection systems, inverters/PCUs, SCADA and electrical cabling.
- Experience in project work planning, site execution and contractor/vendor coordination.
- Ability to read and understand SLDs and electrical drawings.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.
Preferred
- Experience in 5 MW+ / 10 MW+ Solar Power Plant projects.
- Experience in complete project execution from installation through testing, commissioning, grid synchronization and handover.
- Knowledge of DISCOM/CEA requirements and electrical inspection procedures.

Pay: ₹840,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
