Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Ocean Freight Pricing function for India.
- Manage RFQs, tenders, and strategic pricing proposals.
- Negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and overseas agents.
- Prepare competitive and profitable quotations for customers and the sales team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and global partners.
- Monitor market trends, freight rates, and capacity to develop effective pricing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and overseas offices to ensure timely responses.
- Drive pricing excellence and ensure high service levels.
Requirements:
- 10–15+ years of experience in Ocean Freight Pricing within a freight forwarding company.
- Strong knowledge of import/export ocean freight operations.
- Proven experience handling RFQs, tenders, and large strategic accounts.
- Excellent negotiation and commercial skills.
- Strong relationships with shipping lines and NVOCCs.
- Prior experience leading a pricing team is preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
