Role Summary
The Fleet & Operations Officer is responsible for managing, training, and improving the performance of delivery partners (riders) in a defined zone/cluster to ensure high delivery efficiency, safety, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Balance demand and supply across zones.
- Responsible for managing delivery partners in a given cluster.
- Ensure adequate rider availability (login/active hours) during peak hours.
- Train new delivery partners during onboarding.
- Track key metrics such as on-time delivery rate, acceptance rate, cancellation rate, earnings efficiency.
- Resolve rider issues (payments, login issues, order disputes).
- Handle strikes, disputes, and field escalations.
- Maintain smooth communication between riders and restaurants.
