Job Title: Draftsman & Estimator
Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed technical drawings for signage, LED display installations, fabrication works, and structural components.
Develop production and fabrication drawings with accurate dimensions, material specifications, and assembly details.
Create shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings as required.
Prepare project estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and cost analyses based on client requirements.
Prepare project proposals, quantity take-offs, and technical documentation..
Review project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to ensure estimation accuracy.
Work closely with Procurement to verify material quantities and specifications. Revise drawings based on engineering, production, or client comments.
Maintain drawing revisions, document control, and project records.
Ensure drawings comply with company standards, industry practices, and client requirements.
Software Knowledge (Required) AutoCAD – Advanced (2D drafting and detailing) SketchUp – 3D modeling and concept visualization Adobe Illustrator – Layouts and artwork preparation
Microsoft Excel – BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation
Microsoft Word – Proposal and technical documentation
Microsoft PowerPoint – Client presentations
Odoo ERP – Estimation, project, and document management (preferred)
Required Skills Strong understanding of drafting standards and technical documentation.
Experience in project estimation, BOQ preparation, and quantity take-offs.
Knowledge of fabrication methods, structural details, and production processes.
Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in drafting and estimation. Experience in the signage, LED display, fabrication, construction, fit-out, or advertising industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with project specifications, material estimation, and production workflows is an advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
