The Dietitian will be responsible for assessing patients’ nutritional needs and developing appropriate diet plans to support treatment, recovery, and overall health. The role involves working closely with doctors, nursing staff, and patients to provide evidence-based nutrition care.

Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Assessment
- Assess patients’ nutritional status through medical history, dietary intake, and laboratory reports.
- Identify nutrition-related problems and risks.
2. Diet Planning
- Develop customized diet plans for patients based on their medical condition such as:
- Diabetes
- Kidney diseases
- Cardiac conditions
- Gastrointestinal disorders
- Post-surgical recovery
- Critical care patients
3. Patient Counseling
- Provide diet counseling to inpatients and outpatients.
- Educate patients and their families about healthy eating habits and therapeutic diets.
4. Coordination with Medical Team
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper nutritional care for patients.
5. Monitoring & Documentation
- Monitor patient progress and modify diet plans when required.
- Maintain proper records of dietary assessments and patient progress.
6. Kitchen & Food Quality Supervision
- Ensure hospital meals meet hygiene, safety, and nutritional standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for therapeutic diet preparation.
7. Health Education
- Conduct nutrition awareness sessions, health camps, and community programs.

Qualifications
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Nutrition & Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition
- Internship or experience in a hospital setting preferred.

- 1–3 years experience in hospital or clinical dietetics preferred.

- Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets
- Good communication and counseling skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
