Job Summary
The Placement Manager will be responsible for building strong industry partnerships and ensuring successful placement of trained candidates across various sectors. The role involves employer engagement, placement tracking, coordination with training teams, and meeting placement targets aligned with skill development programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesIndustry & Employer Engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers, recruiters, and industry partners.
- Identify job opportunities aligned with training programs.
- Conduct employer visits, MoUs, and placement tie-ups.
- Organize campus interviews, job fairs, and placement drives.
Placement Operations
- Plan and execute placement activities for trained candidates.
- Match candidate profiles with employer requirements.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, and onboarding processes.
- Ensure placement documentation and compliance as per scheme guidelines.
Candidate Management
- Prepare candidates for interviews (mock interviews, soft skills inputs).
- Track candidate performance and placement status.
- Provide post-placement support and follow-ups.
- Maintain placement MIS and reports.
Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with trainers, mobilization teams, and center heads.
- Prepare weekly/monthly placement reports.
- Ensure placement targets are achieved within timelines.
- Support audits and inspections related to placement data.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong corporate networking and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Skill Development Schemes (NSDC, PMKVY, DDU-GKY, etc.).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Data handling, MIS reporting, and documentation skills.
- Target-driven and result-oriented approach.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate/Post Graduate in HR, Management, or related field.
- Certification in Skill Development or HR is an added advantage.
