Job Summary
The Homecare Receptionist coordinates administrative operations for the hospital's home health department. This position acts as the primary liaison between hospital physicians, discharged patients, families, and field clinicians. The role ensures seamless continuity of care from the hospital bed to the patient's home.
Key Responsibilities
- Care Transition: Coordinate with hospital discharge planners to transition patients smoothly into homecare services.
- Complex Scheduling: Map and log daily visitation schedules for field nurses, physical therapists, and aides.
- Hospital Liaison: Direct internal communication between main hospital departments, outpatient clinics, and the homecare team.
- Records Management: Process incoming physician orders, insurance pre-authorizations, and electronic health records (EHR).
- Front Desk: Greet walk-in families, answer multi-line hospital phone extensions, and resolve immediate care inquiries.
- Compliance: Maintain strict data privacy standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding patient health information.
- Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate degree in any stream or a diploma in hospital administration.
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of reception or front-office experience specifically within a hospital or large medical clinic.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and MS Office.
- Core Competencies: Strong multi-tasking skills, crisis communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
