Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Developer to join the ABB delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-grade Microsoft SQL Server solutions. The role requires strong expertise in database programming, performance tuning, data integration, and collaboration with application development teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server databases and database objects.
Develop and optimize Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, and T-SQL scripts.
Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
Design and implement ETL processes for data integration and migration.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
Support application teams for database-related development and production issues.
Ensure database security, backup, recovery, and high availability standards.
Participate in code reviews and establish database development best practices.
Monitor database health and proactively identify performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and stakeholders across global ABB programs.

Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Management
Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).

Manage Azure Landing Zones, Hub-and-Spoke networking architecture, and security controls.
Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and high availability.
Containerization & Kubernetes
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
