About us
SIMHAR is a 250-bed psychiatric hospital in Kerala providing comprehensive mental health care across inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, and de-addiction services. As we grow, we are building a strong professional referral network across the region, and we are looking for an energetic Business Development Executive to lead that outreach.
Role overview
The Business Development Executive is responsible for growing SIMHAR's presence among referral sources, physicians, clinics, NGOs, educational institutions, corporates, and community health workers, by building professional relationships and raising awareness of our services. This is a field-based, relationship-driven role focused on long-term network growth rather than short-cycle sales.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, map, and build relationships with referral sources: GPs, physicians, de-addiction centres, counsellors, NGOs, schools, colleges, and corporate HR/EAP teams
- Conduct regular field visits and meetings to build awareness of SIMHAR's services and clinical strengths
- Organise and support outreach activities, CME events, awareness camps, mental health talks, and community programmes
- Act as the relationship point of contact between referral partners and the hospital, ensuring smooth coordination
- Maintain a structured CRM/database of contacts, visits, and follow-ups, and report on network growth
- Gather feedback from referral partners and share insights with hospital leadership
- Represent SIMHAR professionally and uphold the hospital's ethical and clinical standards at all times
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (a degree in marketing, healthcare administration, life sciences, or social work is an advantage)
- 1–3 years' experience in business development, sales, or marketing, healthcare/pharma/diagnostics background strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills in Malayalam and English
- Confident, self-driven, and comfortable with extensive field work and travel
- Valid driving licence and own two-wheeler preferred
- Comfort and sensitivity around mental health topics

Pay: ₹14,529.27 - ₹40,904.17 per month
