Social Media Manager (Strategy + Content Creation)
Experience: 2–5 years
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Marketing Lead / Head of Marketing
About the Role
We're looking for a Social Media Manager who can think strategically and execute hands-on. This is a high-ownership role for someone who can build the social media roadmap, shoot/design/write the content themselves, and manage day-to-day posting, community, and performance across platforms — without needing a separate strategist, designer, or copywriter to lean on.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Own the social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube/Shorts, etc.), aligned with brand and business goals.
- Plan monthly/quarterly content calendars based on campaigns, product launches, and trends.
- Track competitor activity and industry trends to keep the brand's content relevant and timely.
- Define and report on KPIs (reach, engagement, follower growth, conversions) and adjust strategy based on data.
Content Creation
- Write, shoot, edit, and design content (reels, posts, carousels, captions) end-to-end.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.
- Repurpose long-form content (blogs, podcasts, videos) into platform-specific social assets.
- Stay on top of trending formats, audio, and meme culture relevant to the brand's audience.
Social Media Management
- Manage day-to-day publishing, scheduling, and platform-specific optimization.
- Monitor comments, DMs, and community engagement; respond or escalate as needed.
- Coordinate with influencers/creators for collaborations where relevant.
- Manage paid social boosting/budgets in coordination with the marketing team (if applicable).
- Use analytics tools to report performance weekly/monthly and share insights with stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or personal/creator account at scale.
- Strong portfolio showing both strategic thinking (calendars, campaigns, growth) and hands-on content (writing, design, video editing).
- Proficiency with tools like Canva/Adobe Suite, CapCut/Premiere Pro, and scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, etc.).
- Working knowledge of platform analytics (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, YouTube Studio, etc.).
- Excellent writing skills and a sharp eye for visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple platforms simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Good to Have
- Experience with short-form video editing/trends (Reels, Shorts).
- Basic knowledge of paid social campaigns.
- Familiarity with SEO/social listening tools.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
