About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Export Business Head to lead and grow our international trade operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of export procedures, international markets, buyer acquisition, documentation, logistics, compliance, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute export business growth strategies.
- Identify and onboard international buyers, distributors, and importers.
- Manage complete export sales cycle from inquiry to shipment.
- Build strong relationships with overseas clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, CHA, and shipping lines.
- Handle export documentation including:
- Proforma Invoice
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading
- Certificate of Origin
- LC Documentation
- Monitor international market trends and identify new opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and trade policies.
- Manage export team and achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Travel internationally when required for business meetings and exhibitions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of export-import business.
- Experience in international buyer sourcing and lead generation.
- Understanding of Incoterms, LC, TT, ECGC, DGFT, IEC, and export compliance.
- Knowledge of logistics, shipping, customs clearance, and freight management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle high-value international transactions.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
