Job Description: Senior Executive – Accounts & Finance

About the Role
Responsible for end-to-end finance operations across projects, ensuring compliance, accurate accounting entries, reporting, and effective support for audits and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts Payable Management
· Verify, process, and record vendor invoices with high accuracy.
· Ensure invoices are aligned with approved purchase orders (pricing, quantity, and terms).
· Maintain accurate vendor master data and ledger hygiene in ERP systems.
· Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable sub-ledger with general ledger.
· Investigate discrepancies such as duplicate entries or unmatched transactions.
· Support month-end and year-end closing activities with proper documentation.
2. Payment Processing
· Prepare and process vendor payments through banking systems (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS).
· Ensure strict adherence to internal approval matrix before disbursement.
· Validate and process employee salary payouts in coordination with HR.
· Manage third-party payment platforms including Vendor Bill Discounting (VBD).
· Monitor payment statuses and ensure timely resolution of payment issues.
3. TDS & Statutory Compliance
· Review & record invoices for applicable TDS provisions.
· Ensure accurate deduction and timely deposit of TDS.
· Prepare detailed TDS working sheets (vendor-wise and project-wise).
· Coordinate with taxation teams for return filing and compliance submissions.
· Maintain proper documentation for statutory audits and regulatory requirements.
4. MIS Reporting & Budgeting
· Record all entries for monthly book closure activities and MIS submissions
· Track and analyse actual performance vs budget, highlighting variances.
· Support management with actionable financial insights and MIS reports.
5. E-Way Bill & Documentation Management
· Generate and track e-way bills for goods movement and internal transfers.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.
6. Cash Flow Monitoring
· Track and manage daily cash flow across multiple bank accounts.
· Monitor inflows and outflows and maintain updated cash position reports.
· Perform reconciliation of bank accounts on regular basis to get appropriate balances for Cashflow planning.
· Prepare supporting data to forecast expected payments and liquidity planning.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
· B.Com/M.Com with preference for candidates having Inter-CA or MBA (Finance)
· 3–6 years of relevant experience in accounts payable, finance operations, or project accounting
Technical Skills
· Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel
· Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
· Experience with financial systems and banking platforms

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
