About Position:
This role is for a Python Backend Engineer responsible for building scalable, cloud-native backend systems and workflow-driven applications. The candidate will work on Temporal orchestration, API development, and AI-integrated solutions deployed on AWS.

What You'll Do:

Strong hands-on experience with Python development

Experience with FastAPI or Flask frameworks

Expertise in Temporal (workflow orchestration and activity implementation)

Strong experience in API development and microservices architecture

Database experience with PostgreSQL or Aurora

Experience with external API integrations and AI-based systems
-
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.)

Knowledge of secrets management tools (AWS Secrets Manager / Vault)

Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture

Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
-
Knowledge of observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing)

5–8 years of backend development experience in cloud environments
Expertise You'll Bring:

Strong experience with Blue Yonder SCPO platform and supply chain planning solutions

Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix scripting

Experience with databases such as Snowflake, Oracle, and MS SQL

Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or equivalent) and enterprise solution deployment

Hands-on experience with ETL processes, Python, and Perl scripting

Strong understanding of system integration and architecture design

Experience in multiple full implementation cycles with leadership exposure

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills

Knowledge of supply chain domain and reporting tools like Power BI or Cognos

Exposure to GenAI, AI/ML, and advanced data analytics

Experience with microservices architecture and scalable systems
