Functional Consultant – Civil
Job Summary
We are looking for a Functional Consultant – Civil to support ERP/software implementation and business process improvement for construction and civil engineering projects. The candidate will work with project teams, site engineers, and technical teams to understand requirements and configure solutions accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
Understand civil/construction business processes such as:
BOQ
Estimation
Billing
Procurement
Project tracking
Gather and document client requirements.
Configure ERP modules related to:
Project Management
Inventory
Procurement
Billing & Costing
Coordinate with technical/development teams.
Conduct user training and provide support.
Prepare functional documents, reports, and test cases.
Assist in implementation, testing, and go-live activities.
Support issue resolution and process improvements.
Required Skills
Knowledge of civil/construction workflows.
ERP/SAP/Dynamics/Oracle knowledge preferred.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Microsoft Excel and reporting knowledge.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
2–4 years experience in ERP/functional consulting preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience in construction ERP software.
Knowledge of project costing and billing.
Client handling experience.
Typical functional consultant roles involve requirement gathering, process mapping, ERP configuration, testing, and coordination between business and technical teams.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
