Who we are:
We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and Development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)

Understand System requirements and Layout the Baseline Design
-
Generate Conceptual designs and Perform validation techniques to select Best Optimal Design
-
Selection of Materials for Composite and Metallic parts
-
Perform Design Calculations per System Requirements
-
Hand Calculations, Preliminary Sizing through basic FE Analysis
-
Develop 3D Models using CAD tools
-
Build Assemblies and Perform Stack-up Analysis
-
Interact with Manufacturing team to optimize the design for better producibility and to solve the Manufacturing issues

Design Mold/Tooling/Fixtures for Component Manufacturing
Must have skills:
-
Experience in Aerospace Domain preferably exposure to New Product Development and able to work in Fast paced environment

Good Understanding of Aerodynamics and Behaviour of Aircraft Structure in response to Static and Dynamic Loads
-
Experience in Designing Structural Components like Wing and Fuselage of Aircraft

Knowledge of CAD/FEA Tools like Catia/Solidworks, Ansys/MSC Nastran
-
Performing Hand Calculations and Linear Static Analysis
-
Good Experience of ASME drafting standards and application of GD&T.

Performing Stack-Up Analysis to verify Clash/Clearances in Assembly

Hands-on experience with ENOVIA VPM/ Team Center or similar PDM/ PLM.

Experience in Product development using DFM and DFA Principles

Good Problem Solving and Analytical thinking skills

Should be able to communicate with internal customers on the technical requirements, be able to discuss, participate and negotiate in finalizing technical requirements and acceptance methodologies
- Good communication skills (Verbal and Written)

Should have an ability to articulate thought process to the Project stakeholders
Good to have skills:

Knowledge/Experience in Product Design in Unmanned combat aerial vehicles.

Understanding of Aeroelasticity (Manoeuvre Loads computation, Flutter and Gust)

Programming Languages MATLAB, Python/C++ for parametric analysis Design and FEA
Basic Requirement (education & relevant experience):

B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Aeronautical) with 2-5 Years experience or M.E/M.Tech (Mechanical/Aerospace) with 0-2 years experience.
