- Identify and develop business opportunities for Zen products in international markets, particularly in the defence sector.
Actively promote Zen’s products to foreign customers, government agencies, and defence organizations (Tri-forces).
Engage with key decision-makers in target markets, ensuring timely follow-ups and in-person meetings as required.
Gather competitive intelligence, including pricing trends and strategies of competitor companies.
Physical Visits for presentations, liaison to the channel partners and defence industries.
Represent the company at global defence forums, trade shows, seminars, and exhibitions organized by SIDM, DDP, FICCI, CII, ASOCHAM, and other relevant entities.
Collaborate with Indian Défense Attachés (DAs), Foreign Défense Attaches (DAs in India) and POCs in the Embassies for Defence Exports to explore and leverage business opportunities.
Coordinate visits of foreign delegations to Zen facilities and arrange high-level meetings with stakeholders.
Maintain regular communication with Zen’s international representatives, ensuring strategic alignment and market updates.
Manage and drive end-to-end export operations, ensuring compliance with international regulations and industry best practices.
Undertake any additional export and business development tasks as directed by the leadership
Skills & Competencies Required:
Proven experience in global business strategy development and execution.
Strong knowledge of Défense export markets, particularly in counter-drone solutions and Defence or Security Training needs.
Expertise in contract negotiation and high-value deal structuring.
In-depth understanding of government and Défense procurement processes across various international markets.
Excellent relationship management skills with Défense stakeholders, embassies, and government bodies.
Willing to perform with Target based environment.
Willing to travel extensively.
Education & Qualifications:
MBA/PGDM (Marketing/International Business) or equivalent.
Additional certifications in international trade, business strategy, or Défense procurement will be an added advantage.
Ex-Défense personnel with business development expertise preferred.
Experience Required:
10-15 years of experience in International Business Development, preferably in the Défense sector.
Prior experience in global Défense sales, exports, and strategic partnerships is highly desirable.
