Job Summary
Research and Consulting at PropEquity will play a pivotal role in driving innovative solutions and strategic insights within the real estate sector. The position entails leading research initiatives, providing critical advisory support, and collaborating with stakeholders to help PropEquity maintain its leadership position in the market. The ideal candidate will possess deep analytical skills, a sound understanding of India's real estate dynamics, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research Leadership:
- Lead comprehensive research projects focusing on real estate trends, market analysis, and strategic planning.
- Develop insights and forecasts on housing demand, supply, and pricing patterns across different micro-markets in India.
- Utilize both primary and secondary research methodologies to collect accurate data.
- Strategic Consulting:
- Provide advisory support to clients for market entry strategies.
- Formulate strategic recommendations to enhance investment decisions for corporate and individual clients.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Analyze large datasets related to real estate markets, financial performance, and development trends.
- Translate complex data findings into visually engaging reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and technical teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Engage with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, developers, and investors, to gather insights and build strategic alliances.
- Presentation and Communication:
- Present research findings and strategic insights to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed reports, whitepapers, and case studies showcasing PropEquity’s expertise in the domain.
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Software: GIS (QGIS/ArcGIS), MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Photoshop, MS word.
- Analytical Excellence: Strong skills in data interpretation, statistical analysis, and scenario modeling.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and develop actionable insights.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation abilities.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively while fostering growth and collaboration.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, R, or Python. Knowledge of GIS software and visualization tools is an added advantage.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Indian real estate markets, including residential, commercial, and retail segments.

- Demonstrated experience in managing research projects and providing strategic consulting in the real estate domain.

Preferred Candidate Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Master’s degree in relevant specializations including but not limited to M.Plan, M.Arch, M.B.A, or equivalent from reputed institutes in India or abroad.
