Key Responsibilities

Develop concept and basic mechanical designs for Hydrogen Fuel Cell products.

Provide concept design (NPD) and detailed design through a structured design process.

Experience in choosing appropriate materials to meet the design requirements

Prepare 3D models, layouts, detailed drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) and design documentation using CAD tools.

Perform tolerance analysis, stack-up studies, and ensure GD&T compliance.
- Support issue resolution, design improvements, and technical problem-solving during development and execution phase.

Collaborate with other functions and teams in completing the required design projects.
- Work on continuous improvements for existing designs to enhance durability and reduce cost.

Ensure engineering deliverables meet expected quality, timelines, and first-time-right (FTY) standards.

Work Experience
Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of sheet metal design principles, standards, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong hands-on experience with Creo Parametric and other CAD/design tools.

Experience in concept development, equipment layout, detailed design, and design optimization.

Experience with PDM/PLM (e.g., and Windchill).

Good understanding of GD&T, material selection, and tolerance stack-up.

Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, ISO, AWS for welding).
- Exposure to Structural Analysis using Analysis tool.

Exposure to DFMEA and DFM will be an added advantage.

Ability to manage assigned tasks independently and deliver within project timelines.

Strong communication skills. Able to communicate with customer independently on daily basis.
