Sun Chem India is looking for a detail-oriented Label Operator to manage label printing, issuance, and reconciliation for our Cosmetics & Personal Care products. The role involves ensuring accurate labeling, maintaining documentation, and adhering to GMP, SOPs, and quality standards to support smooth manufacturing and packaging operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate label printing machines and barcode printers as per production requirements.
- Print labels with accurate product information, including batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, MRP, and barcode details.
- Verify labels against approved artwork and batch records before issuance.
- Issue labels to production departments as per approved procedures.
- Maintain label issuance, usage, return, and reconciliation records.
- Ensure proper control and storage of labels to prevent mix-ups and unauthorized usage.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, and Stores departments for label requirements.
- Identify and segregate damaged, obsolete, or rejected labels as per SOP.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of label printing equipment.
- Follow GMP, SOPs, and safety guidelines during operations.
- Support audits and inspections by maintaining accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer labeling requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in label printing, packaging, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience in Cosmetics, Personal Care, Pharma, FMCG, or Packaging Industry preferred.
Location: Kolgaon, Palghar
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
