Job Summary
GBL Chemical Limited is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager with a strong background in the chemical trading industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing new customers, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets for industrial and specialty chemicals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Manage and grow relationships with key customers and distributors.
- Handle sales of industrial and specialty chemicals.
- Identify new market opportunities and monitor industry trends.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts with customers.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams for timely execution of orders.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy customer relationships.
- Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and market intelligence reports.
- Lead and support the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Travel regularly for customer meetings and business development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in chemical sales and trading is mandatory.
- Proven experience in chemical trading, including sourcing, pricing, and distribution of industrial chemicals.
- Strong network within the chemical industry.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel extensively.
Job Type

- Experience in trading of solvents, petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, or industrial chemicals.
