Job Description
Oxymed Hospital is looking for a well-organised and responsible Personal Assistant to Hospital Management to support senior management with day-to-day coordination, communication, scheduling and administrative activities.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, good follow-up ability and preferably experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily schedule, appointments and meetings of senior management.
- Coordinate with doctors, department heads, staff, patients and external stakeholders.
- Handle calls, emails, messages and routine correspondence professionally.
- Schedule and follow up on meetings, consultations and important appointments.
- Prepare and maintain reports, MIS data, presentations and administrative documents.
- Coordinate with different hospital departments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain records, files and confidential information appropriately.
- Follow up on pending tasks and provide regular updates to management.
- Assist with patient-related coordination and communication when required.
- Support management in hospital events, meetings, medical camps and other activities.
- Track important operational matters and escalate issues to management when required.
- Maintain professional communication with consultants, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 3+ years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Hospital Administrator, Operations Executive or similar role.
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare organisation will be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Knowledge of Malayalam or Hindi will be an added advantage.
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Good follow-up, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Presentable, professional and comfortable interacting with senior management and healthcare professionals.
