The Senior Manager – Projects will be responsible for leading end-to-end retail expansion projects, including business development, site identification, store setup, vendor management, interior fit-outs, and project execution. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project execution capabilities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of new stores.
Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Expansion
- Conduct catchment analysis and market research to identify high-potential locations for expansion.
- Scout and evaluate commercial properties suitable for new store openings.
- Coordinate with landlords, brokers, and property consultants for site acquisition.
- Assess location feasibility, competition, customer demographics, and business potential.
New Store Projects
- Lead end-to-end execution of new store development projects from site finalization to store launch.
- Prepare project plans, timelines, budgets, and execution strategies.
- Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for smooth project implementation.
Interior Fit-Out & Store Development
- Oversee store design, layout planning, civil works, MEP works, branding, and interior fit-outs.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, quality benchmarks, and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress and resolve site-level challenges proactively.
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard project-related vendors and contractors.
- Manage vendor performance, cost optimization, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials and services.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor project teams, site engineers, and support staff.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure project success.
- Drive accountability, collaboration, and high-performance culture within the team.
Project Monitoring & Reporting
- Track project milestones, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
- Prepare regular project status reports and present updates to senior management.
- Implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in retail expansion, project management & store development.
- Proven experience in managing multiple store rollout projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of retail fit-outs, vendor management, and project execution.
Pay: ₹1,300,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
