Position: Junior Estimator (Civil)

Experience: 1–3 Years (Precast Concrete / Construction Industry Preferred)
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Job Summary
The Estimator (Civil) will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for precast concrete products by reviewing enquiries, tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer enquiries, tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with internal teams of Project engineers ,design ,procurement , production and salespersons.
- Report to senior Estimator
- Perform quantity take-offs from structural and architectural drawings.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for precast concrete products and systems.
- Estimate material, reinforcement, concrete, moulds, inserts, lifting accessories, labour, transportation, and installation costs.
- Evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with the design and engineering teams for technical clarifications.
- Prepare Estimation summary using the company's standard templates.
- Ensure estimation details customer specifications and project requirements.
- Maintain updated material rates, labour rates, and cost databases.
- Identify value engineering and cost optimization opportunities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction processes.
- Ability to interpret structural, architectural, and shop drawings.
- Excellent quantity take-off and BOQ preparation skills.
- Good understanding of concrete, reinforcement detailing, embedded items, and precast production.
- Strong analytical and commercial aptitude.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and meet deadlines.
Software Proficiency
- AutoCAD, Revit(preferred)
- Microsoft Excel ,outlook.
- ERP Software (Preferred)
