Position description: Jindal Stainless Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead and manage the Holloware division within the Mining & Metals industry. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep technical knowledge of holloware manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management. The candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring product quality aligns with industry standards. This position requires collaboration across departments to innovate and implement best practices, while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex manufacturing operations and leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic industrial environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process of holloware products, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Develop and implement production strategies to optimize resource utilization and improve operational efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, supply chain, and maintenance to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to the mining and metals industry.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to drive innovation in holloware product design and manufacturing techniques.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports related to the holloware division’s performance.
- Drive implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and enhance product quality.
- Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performance culture aligned with company values and goals.
