Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer with strong experience in Switchgear and Electrical Instruments. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, providing technical solutions, and achieving sales targets across industrial, commercial, and utility sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Switchgear Components such as Circuit Breakers, MCBs, Contactors, SMPS, etc.
- Promote Electrical Instruments including Panel Meters, Current Transformers, Isolators, Multifunction Meters, etc.
- Identify and develop customers including OEMs, Panel Builders, Contractors, and Industrial End Users.
- Provide technical consultation, product presentations, and demonstrations.
- Prepare and negotiate sales proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Logistics, and After-Sales teams for timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research on competitor products, pricing, and industry trends.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to generate new leads.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering – Mandatory
- 4–5 years of experience in Technical Sales / Business Development in the Electrical, Switchgear, or Power Distribution industry.
- Strong knowledge of Switchgear Systems and Electrical Instruments is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits.
Preferred
- Existing network in the Electrical Distribution / Automation industry.
- Experience working with Channel Partners, Distributors, or System Integrators.
- Strong business development and customer relationship management skills.
