- Good knowledge of the Aluminium Commodities with supplier base of High pressure Die casting , Gravity Die casting , Sand casting & Extrusion.
- Automobile experience is added advantages
- Good in cost estimation and negotiation.
- Good in analytical skill and implement the new strategies for the organisation growth,
- Solid knowledge in Die casting process and tooling.
- Strategic sourcing of New product developments adhering to new project timelines and quality parameters in a very robust and challenging environment.
- Cross functional team interaction to understand the intricacies of the project and product and support in getting the right suppliers to do the right job.
- Strong costing & negotiation skills.
- Understanding of basic financial and economic concepts.
- Candidate should have good Aluminium commodity background with Automotive experience.
- Should have capable to enlarge across India sourcing platform. Priority is South India
- Willing to travel
- Hindi is must and added advantages.
Job Description:
- Supplier identification, localization of suppliers and evaluation.
- Act as the technical interface between suppliers and USA Sourcing team to determine new and alternate sources.
- Sourcing the right suppliers, techno-commercial negotiations and on boarding.
- Implements plans to assure orders meet specified quality and delivery times and to minimize the total cost of purchases.
- Documents performance to action plans and timelines for assigned sourcing projects.
- Handles requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes.
- Evaluates current and potential suppliers in coordination with Supplier Quality Teams.
- Negotiates with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Works with Sourcing Manager to guarantee supply for all portfolios.
- Establishes and maintains rapport with all levels of supplier personnel and customers.
