We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Steward to support our food and beverage operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. The ideal candidate will ensure that all dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and workspaces are cleaned and maintained according to hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, storage, and service areas.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables following company procedures.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing supplies and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Support kitchen and service staff during busy periods.
- Clean floors, workstations, refrigerators, and other equipment as assigned.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all company policies and workplace safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous stewarding, housekeeping, or kitchen support experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry items for extended periods.
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, bars, or hospitality environments.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
