We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to supervise the dining area, lead the service team, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, communication, and hospitality skills with the ability to manage day-to-day restaurant operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of waiters and stewards.
Ensure prompt, courteous, and professional service to all guests.
Welcome guests, assist with seating, and handle special requests.
Train, guide, and motivate the service team to maintain high service standards.
Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and overall dining area presentation.
Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate order service.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and restaurant SOPs.
Assist in inventory control of restaurant service equipment and supplies.
Prepare duty rosters and maintain team discipline during shifts.
Requirements
2–5 years of experience as a Restaurant Captain or in a similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of restaurant operations and food & beverage service.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
A positive attitude with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
Preferred Qualification
Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.
Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant billing software is an advantage.
Salary: As per company standards and experience.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
