Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Fit-Out Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end execution of interior fit-out projects. The role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects from inception to completion while ensuring timely delivery, cost control, quality standards, and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in interior fit-out project execution, with the ability to manage project teams, contractors, vendors, suppliers, site activities, budgets, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, execute, and monitor interior fit-out projects from start to completion.
- Develop project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, site, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Management
- Lead and manage project managers, site supervisors, designers, contractors, and support teams.
- Allocate resources effectively and ensure smooth coordination between all stakeholders.
- Guide and mentor project teams to improve execution efficiency and performance.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely availability at project sites.
- Monitor contractor and vendor performance and ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors wherever required.
Client Management
- Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout project execution.
- Understand client requirements and provide regular project updates.
- Address project-related concerns, delays, changes, and escalations.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Quality & Site Management
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor execution quality.
- Ensure workmanship, materials, and finishes meet the required standards.
- Identify and resolve issues that may impact project quality or timelines.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety and site requirements.
Budget & Cost Control
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and overall financial performance.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Track project progress against approved budgets and timelines.
- Prepare project performance and cost reports for management.
Process Improvement
- Identify operational inefficiencies and improve project execution processes.
- Implement best practices to improve productivity, quality, and timely project delivery.
- Track project KPIs and take corrective action wherever required.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in interior fit-out/project execution/ construction project management.
- Strong experience managing end-to-end interior fit-out projects.
- Experience handling contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out techniques, materials, finishes, and construction methods.
- Good understanding of project budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and resource planning.
- Strong client management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools/software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.
Preferred Background
Candidates from Interior Fit-Out, Design & Build, Commercial Interiors, Residential Interiors, Construction, or Project Management backgrounds will be preferred.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
