About the Internship
This is a short-term, high-intensity internship designed to help students gain real-world exposure to communication, networking, relationship building, and social impact fundraising.
Interns will work closely with the Omatra Foundation team to understand how grassroots organisations build individual donor networks.
Key Learning Outcomes
Interns will learn:
- How NGOs raise funds ethically
- How to identify potential supporters
- How to pitch a social cause confidently
- How to handle objections and rejections
- How to build professional communication skills
- How small contributions create measurable impact
No prior fundraising experience is required. Full training and scripts will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to your personal and professional network to create awareness about Omatra Foundation’s work
- Initiate meaningful conversations around girls’ education
- Share campaign information with potential supporters
- Maintain a simple record of outreach and responses
- Participate in daily guidance and support sessions
