Job Title: Primary ICT Teacher

Job Purpose
The Primary ICT Teacher is responsible for teaching Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to primary grade students, developing their digital literacy, basic computer skills, and responsible use of technology in alignment with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum and school guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons for primary classes (Grades 1–5).
- Teach fundamental computer skills such as:
- Basic computer operations
- MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint basics)
- Internet safety and digital citizenship
- Educational software and basic coding tools
- Use interactive and activity-based learning methods suitable for young learners.
2. Curriculum Implementation
- Follow the ICT curriculum as per school and CBSE guidelines.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and digital learning resources.
- Integrate technology into classroom learning where applicable.
3. Student Assessment
- Evaluate students through assignments, projects, and practical activities.
- Maintain student records and progress reports.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
4. Classroom & Lab Management
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of the computer lab.
- Monitor students while using computers and the internet.
- Promote safe and responsible digital practices.
5. Collaboration
- Work closely with class teachers to support technology-enabled learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
6. Professional Development
- Stay updated with new educational technologies and teaching methodologies.
- Attend workshops and training programs related to ICT education.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications (B.Sc / BCA / B.Tech / Equivalent)
- B.Ed. is preferred for teaching positions in CBSE schools.
Experience
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in ICT/Computer Science (preferably in a school).
Skills Required
- Good knowledge of computer fundamentals and educational technology.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to teach young learners using creative and interactive methods.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,360.81 - ₹35,805.60 per month
