Who we are looking for
The Associate – Investor Services is responsible for supporting the delivery of investor servicing activities for hedge fund clients globally. The role involves accurate execution of investor transactions, maintenance of investor records, and adherence to operational controls, regulatory requirements, and client service standards.
The Associate will work closely with internal teams including Fund Accounting, Custody, and Middle Office, ensuring seamless end-to-end support for investor lifecycle activities in a deadline-driven environment.
What you will be responsible for
Investor Transaction Processing

Validate investor instructions and supporting documentation for completeness and compliance.

Process investor transactions including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and switches in accordance with governing documents and defined procedures.

Ensure accurate and timely recording of investor activities in internal systems.
Investor Record Maintenance

Maintain and update investor records, including static data, account details, and bank instructions.

Support onboarding of new investors and maintenance of existing investor profiles

Ensure accurate tracking of capital activity and investor balances.
Control & Reconciliation Activities

Perform daily and periodic reconciliation of investor positions, transactions, and cash movements.

Identify and investigate discrepancies, breaks, or exceptions

Escalate issues in a timely manner and support resolution activities
Client & Stakeholder Interaction

Support responses to client queries and requests related to investor transactions and account activity.

Coordinate with global stakeholders and internal functional groups.

Provide support for reporting deliverables and client communications.
Regulatory & Compliance Adherence

Ensure adherence to internal policies, operating procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements

Maintain audit-ready documentation for all investor servicing activities.
Process Efficiency & Continuous Improvement

Participate in automation initiatives and system enhancements where applicable

Contribute to knowledge sharing and process documentation updates
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline

0–3 years of relevant experience in Investor Services, Transfer Agency, Hedge Funds, or Alternative Investment operations preferred

Understanding of hedge fund structures, investor lifecycle, and capital activity is desirable
Knowledge & Skills

Basic understanding of hedge fund products and investor servicing processes, including subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions

Good analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in reconciliation and exception handling

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational systems
