We are seeking a highly qualified, dynamic, and experienced IBDP Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy and a proven track record of preparing students successfully for both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL) IBDP examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Teach IBDP Mathematics courses (Analysis & Approaches and/or Applications & Interpretation) at both SL and HL, catering to diverse learning needs.
- Internal Assessment (IA): Guide, mentor, and evaluate students through the IB Mathematics Internal Assessment process, ensuring high-quality mathematical exploration.
- Exam Preparation: Prepare students thoroughly for external IBDP examinations through targeted assessments, mock exams, and rigorous problem-solving sessions.
- Inquiry-Based Learning: Foster a classroom environment rooted in IB pedagogy—focusing on inquiry, critical thinking, conceptual understanding, and real-world applications.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of direct experience teaching Mathematics within the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) at both SL and HL.
- Qualifications: A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field. Valid teaching certification is highly preferred.
- IB Training: Category 1 or Category 2 official IB workshop certification is a strong asset.
- Skills: Exceptional communication skills, mastery of graphical display calculators (GDC), and a passion for making advanced mathematical concepts accessible and engaging.
