We are looking for an experienced and reliable IT Executive / IT Support Engineer to manage the day-to-day IT operations at Highway Towers. The candidate will be responsible for handling all basic and technical IT requirements, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, maintaining network systems, supporting office users, and coordinating with vendors whenever required.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of computer systems, networking, CCTV, printers, internet connectivity, software installation, and general IT support.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Hardware & System Support
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, routers, switches, and other IT equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware-related issues. Handle formatting, system upgrades, RAM/HDD/SSD replacement, and basic repair coordination. Maintain all computers and IT assets in proper working condition. Ensure regular system updates, antivirus checks, and preventive maintenance. Set up new systems for employees and ensure required software access.
2. Software Support
- Install and configure operating systems, MS Office, antivirus, PDF tools, email clients, and other required software. Troubleshoot software errors, system slowdowns, application crashes, and login issues. Maintain software licenses and ensure compliance. Assist employees with day-to-day software usage and technical issues. Take regular data backups where required.
3. Networking & Internet Management
- Maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, access points, and internet connections. Troubleshoot network issues such as slow internet, no connectivity, IP conflicts, and router/modem problems. Configure IP addresses, LAN sharing, printers on network, and basic firewall settings. Coordinate with internet service providers for downtime, speed issues, or new connections. Monitor internet performance and ensure smooth connectivity across the premises.
4. CCTV, Access Control & Security Systems
- Monitor and maintain CCTV systems, DVR/NVR, cameras, and recording backups. Troubleshoot CCTV connectivity, camera display, recording, and storage issues. Coordinate with CCTV/security vendors for installation, repair, or replacement. Support biometric/access control systems, if applicable. Ensure security systems remain functional at all times.
5. Printer, Scanner & Peripheral Support
- Configure and troubleshoot printers, photocopiers, scanners, and network printers. Resolve paper jam, toner, driver, connectivity, and print queue issues. Coordinate with printer vendors for servicing and cartridge/toner replacement. Maintain printer usage and service records.
6. Email, Data & User Support
- Set up and troubleshoot official email accounts. Assist users with password resets, email configuration, data transfer, and backup. Support staff with basic IT training and day-to-day technical assistance. Handle IT complaints promptly and maintain proper follow-up. Ensure important company data is protected and backed up wherever required.
7. IT Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain an updated record of all IT assets including laptops, desktops, printers, routers, CCTV devices, and accessories. Track repair, replacement, warranty, AMC, and vendor service details. Maintain stock of IT accessories such as cables, mouse, keyboard, cartridges, adapters, etc. Prepare basic reports related to IT assets and maintenance.
8. Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors for internet, hardware repair, CCTV, printers, software, AMC, and IT purchases. Take quotations, compare pricing, and follow up for timely completion of work. Ensure vendors complete work properly and within the required timeline. Maintain vendor contact details and service records.
9. Website / Digital / Basic Online Support
- Coordinate with website, domain, hosting, and email service vendors if required. Handle basic website/email hosting troubleshooting. Support company teams with basic digital requirements such as file sharing, online forms, Google Drive, etc. Assist in maintaining official IT-related accounts and credentials securely.
10. Daily IT Operations & Reporting
- Attend daily IT complaints and resolve them in a timely manner. Conduct regular checks of internet, CCTV, printers, computers, and network systems. Maintain records of complaints, repairs, pending issues, and completed tasks. Report major IT issues to management immediately. Ensure smooth IT operations across the building/office premises.
Required Technical Knowledge
The candidate should have working knowledge of:
- Windows operating systems and basic troubleshooting. MS Office, Outlook/email setup, antivirus, PDF software, and common business applications. Desktop/laptop hardware diagnosis and repair coordination. LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, IP configuration, and network printer setup. CCTV systems, DVR/NVR, camera troubleshooting, and basic recording backup. Printer/scanner installation and troubleshooting. Data backup, file sharing, and basic cybersecurity practices. Google Workspace / Microsoft email systems will be an added advantage. Basic knowledge of domain, hosting, website, and email server coordination will be preferred.
Basic Skills Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or similar role. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple IT complaints independently. Good communication skills with staff, management, tenants, and vendors. Must be punctual, responsible, and proactive. Should be able to maintain records and provide regular updates. Should be comfortable with field/vendor coordination when required. Must have practical hands-on experience, not only theoretical knowledge.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Male/Female candidate with minimum 3 years of IT support experience. Experience in commercial buildings, offices, IT parks, hotels, malls, or facility management will be preferred. Should be able to manage both office IT and building-level IT systems. Candidate should be based in or near Noida/Delhi NCR.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
