Job Summary
Ping Engineers India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Operation Head – Injection Moulding Plant to lead complete plant operations. The candidate will be responsible for Production, PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, Planning, Dispatch, Cost Control, Customer Satisfaction, and Continuous Improvement while ensuring safety, productivity, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complete Injection Moulding Plant Operations.
- Manage Production, PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, Warehouse, Dispatch, and Planning functions.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Improve OEE, Productivity, Machine Utilization, and Operational Efficiency.
- Ensure customer delivery commitments are achieved on time.
- Monitor production planning, inventory control, and dispatch schedules.
- Drive rejection reduction, cycle time improvement, and cost optimization.
- Lead customer audits and certification audits.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke, TPM, and Continuous Improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific quality standards.
- Develop departmental KPIs and review daily plant performance.
- Manage manpower planning, budgeting, and resource utilization.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, HR, Finance, and Customer teams.
- Lead new product development (NPD), trial management, and production readiness.
- Ensure adherence to all statutory, safety, and environmental requirements.
Mandatory Requirement (Must Have)
- Candidate must have worked with LG Electronics or an LG-approved Vendor/Supplier in the Plastic Injection Moulding Industry.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing plastic components for LG products such as Washing Machines, Refrigerators, Air Conditioners, Microwave Ovens, Televisions, Water Purifiers, or other Home Appliances is mandatory.
- Experience in handling LG Quality Standards, Production Systems, Customer Audits, PPAP, APQP, Process Audits, CAPA, and Customer Complaint Management is essential.
- Candidates without experience working with LG Electronics or an authorized LG Vendor/Supplier will not be considered.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Complete knowledge of Plastic Injection Moulding Operations.
- Expertise in Production Planning, Quality Management, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Supply Chain.
- Strong understanding of Scientific Moulding, Cycle Time Optimization, OEE, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and Kaizen.
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Excellent communication, customer handling, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP Systems and Advanced MS Excel.
