The Manager – Commercials will be responsible for managing the organization's commercial accounting, with a strong focus on, import-export (EXIM) documentation, FEMA compliance, and statutory licensing
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial & Accounting Operations
- Manage commercial accounting related to procurement, sales, imports, and exports.
- Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, commercial contracts, and payment documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments for commercial approvals and documentation.
- Ensure accurate accounting of import/export transactions.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts related to commercial transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
2. Import-Export (EXIM) Management
- Handle end-to-end import and export documentation.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and logistics partners.
- Ensure timely customs clearance and shipment documentation.
- Monitor Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills, Bill of Lading, Airway Bills, and related documents.
- Coordinate with DGFT, Customs, and other regulatory authorities.
- Track shipment status and ensure timely documentation for finance and compliance.
3. FEMA & RBI Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FEMA regulations for all international transactions.
- Coordinate with authorized dealer (AD) banks regarding foreign remittances.
- Manage inward and outward remittances.
- Monitor export realization and import payments.
- Prepare documentation required by RBI and AD Banks.
- Support audits related to FEMA and foreign exchange transactions.
4. Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
- Manage applications, renewals, and amendments of statutory licenses.
- Coordinate with DGFT for IEC and other trade-related licenses.
- Maintain compliance with government regulations applicable to imports and exports.
- Track validity of licenses and ensure timely renewals.
- Liaise with government authorities for approvals and compliance matters.
5. Banking & Documentation
- Coordinate with banks for Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and foreign remittances.
- Review commercial agreements from a financial and compliance perspective.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits.
- Ensure document accuracy before submission to banks and regulatory authorities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com); CA Inter/M.Com/MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in commercial finance, EXIM operations, FEMA compliance, and licensing.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Import & Export documentation
- FEMA regulations
- RBI guidelines
- DGFT procedures
- Customs compliance
- GST related to imports/exports
- Banking documentation (LC/BG)
- Experience coordinating with customs authorities, freight forwarders, banks, and government agencies.
- Proficiency in tally, ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, documentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Pay: ₹1,100,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
