Buying Manager – Kids & Mom-to-Be Category
Role Summary:
Responsible for driving the buying and merchandising strategy for Kidswear, Baby Products, mom to be Wear, and related categories. The role involves assortment planning, vendor management, product selection, pricing, inventory optimization, and category growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop buying strategies and seasonal product assortments.
Source and manage vendors; negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings.
Monitor inventory, sales performance, margins, and stock availability.
Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to drive category growth.
Ensure timely product launches and optimal product mix.
Requirements:
10–15 years of buying/merchandising experience in Kidswear, Baby Care, mom to be, Fashion, or Retail.
Strong expertise in category management, vendor development, and inventory planning.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Industry: Kidswear, Baby Products, Maternity Wear, Fashion Retail, Lifestyle Retail, or E-commerce.
Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
